Save the Babies Refuge Maternity Home offers a stress free application process. The expectant mothers welfare is considered a first priority at all times. The expectant mother is walked through the process with the utmost care to ensure comprehension of program goals, alternatives, and eventual outcome upon delivery and exiting the program.

Teen girls or women who are pregnant may be admitted to Save the Babies regardless of race, religion, or national origin. These are individuals who are in a crisis situation due to unwanted pregnancies having created an undesired transition period in their lives.

Admission time is flexible, but preferable in the third month of pregnancy. A pre-admission interview is required prior to admission. Once the intake study is complete, it is presented for approval. Upon approval a date for admission is scheduled. Referrals may be received during our regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If a client is under the age of (18), placement must be made by the legal guardian.

A physical exam and proof of pregnancy with an expected due date documented by a physician is required at pre-admission. Each applicant must undergo TB and STD screening prior to admission.
